USMC Update Okay, my recruiter finally got back with me. Apparently because of my re-enlistment code which involves prior drug use while in the military, which does not preclude me from enlisting again but the combination of that and the time I have been out makes it unlikely Headquarters Marine Corps would let me back into the corps. So for those of you who did not want me to do this... there you go.. now I need to decide if I try the national guard or just scrap the whole idea entirely. Current Mood: annoyed |

Are you Machiavellian?
You Are Somewhat Machiavellian
|

You're not going to mow over everyone to get ahead...
But you're also powerful enough to make things happen for yourself.
You understand how the world works, even when it's an ugly place.
You just don't get ugly yourself - unless you have to!

Made me laugh...... I had one of our customers (co-worker I provide support for) roll up in my cube today and look at me.. turn around and walked out my cube saying.. You aren't Tom..... the funny part is this guy sat in the office next to me for more than a year.. it amused me.. Maybe I should have told him I am Russell. |

For shits and giggles I went to a website to calculate BMI... for me to no longer be overweight I would need to be 172lbs. This is disconcerting considering my goals is 180lbs and my Doctor's goal for me is 200lbs :( Perhaps I need to adjust my personal goal. |

Camp and work stuff Well it looks like I will be able to be at camp the whole time. This rocks!! Apparently when I asked my boss to let me know if I was going or not because it affected how I planned my vacation he decided not to send me because he did not want me to cut my vacation short. Granted I lose some of the face time with the executuves etc. buy you know what... my work ethic and quality speaks for itself. |

Things.. my end of the deal. Memories past and to be made. 1. I'll respond with something random I like about you. 2. I'll tell you what song/movie reminds me of you. 3. I'll name something we should do together. 4. I'll say something that only makes sense to you and me (or just me). 5. I'll tell you my first/clearest memory of you. 6. I'll leave you a quote that is somehow appropriate to you. 7. I'll ask you something that I've always wondered about you. 8. If I do this for you, you must post this on your journal so you can do the same for other people |
